Plot
The film begins with a flashback of Jake (Gerald Anderson) and Tintin (Arci Muñoz) as young kids who are neighbors and best friends. Jake has a crush on Tintin, but he is too shy to confess his feelings. One day, he decides to write her a love letter, but he accidentally gives it to the wrong girl. Tintin finds out and teases him about it, making him feel embarrassed and angry. He vows to never talk to her again.
Fifteen years later, Jake is a successful businessman who is engaged to his girlfriend Tracy (Bangs Garcia). However, he is unhappy with his relationship, as Tracy is controlling, demanding, and unfaithful. He decides to break up with her, but she refuses to accept it and threatens to ruin his reputation. Meanwhile, Tintin is a makeup artist who dreams of becoming a famous vlogger. She is in love with her boyfriend Bryan (Ahron Villena), who is a model and an aspiring actor. However, he is also cheating on her with another woman.
Jake and Tintin cross paths again when they both attend the same wedding. They recognize each other and catch up on their lives. They realize that they are both in toxic relationships and decide to help each other move on. They agree to be each other's "rebound", meaning that they will pretend to be in love to make their exes jealous and leave them alone.
As they spend more time together, they start to develop genuine feelings for each other. They also help each other achieve their goals: Jake helps Tintin launch her vlog, while Tintin helps Jake deal with his business problems. However, they are afraid to admit their true feelings, as they fear that they might ruin their friendship or hurt each other. They also face obstacles from their exes, who are still trying to win them back.
Will Jake and Tintin overcome their fears and insecurities and give love a second chance? Or will they always be just maybe?
