Step 2: Install Octane Render for LightWave Plugin

Once you have downloaded the zip file, extract it to a folder on your computer. You will see two files: a .p file and a .cfg file. The .p file is the plugin file that contains the Octane Render engine and features. The .cfg file is the configuration file that contains the settings and preferences for the plugin. To install the plugin, you need to copy both files to your LightWave 3D plugins folder. The location of this folder may vary depending on your LightWave 3D version and installation path, but it is usually something like this: C:\Program Files\NewTek\LightWave_2019.1\bin\plugins or /Applications/NewTek/LightWave3D_2019.1/bin/plugins. After copying the files, launch LightWave 3D and go to Edit > Edit Plugins. Click on Scan Directory and select the plugins folder where you copied the files. You should see OctaneRender.p appear in the list of plugins. Click on Done to confirm.

Step 3: Activate Octane Render for LightWave Plugin
